Cement & construction materials
Clinker, limestone, and masonry subsamples reduced to a controlled fine fraction ahead of Blaine, XRF, or chemical QC routes.
Vector VTR-1012-C Gaia continuous vibratory disc mill — integrated grinding cell with automatic feed and proportional sample divider for nonstop prep; meters 2–3 mm feed and continuously discharges fines below 0.5 mm.
2–3 mm feed · continuous <0.5 mm fines · auto divider
The Vector VTR-1012-C Gaia is a continuous vibratory disc mill for nonstop laboratory and plant sample preparation — combining a fixed ring-and-puck grinding cell with automatic feed and built-in fractionation so high-volume workflows keep running without batch changeovers.
Material in the 2–3 mm size range is metered at a constant rate from the top-loading hopper into the grinding cell. After vibratory milling, particles pass through a built-in proportional sample divider that continuously discharges material finer than 0.5 mm — delivering a steady fine fraction for XRF, fusion, or automated splits while oversized material recirculates in the cell.
The Gaia suits large-volume preparation rooms and industrial QC lines that need uninterrupted operation across shift work. Vector configures hopper capacity, divider ratio, and wear parts for your throughput targets — from cement and clinker routes to exploration geology and process-plant certification.

Supplied as CE-marked machinery. Where your quality system references specific preparation or test methods, pair the mill with the appropriate standards from our library — Vector application staff can help map fineness targets to downstream analysis.

From cement and mining QC to exploration and industrial certification, Gaia supports workflows that need a steady fine fraction without stopping for batch emptying.

Vector application support sizes hopper, divider ratio, and grinding media for your target PSD and daily sample count.
Vector application support helps match feed rate, divider setting, and grinding time to your SOP and downstream analytical methods.
Engineered for continuous vibratory milling, metered feed, and reliable nonstop operation in high-volume prep laboratories.
Top-loading hopper delivers material in the 2–3 mm range at a constant rate into the fixed grinding cell.
Built-in proportional divider continuously discharges fines below 0.5 mm for uninterrupted analytical prep.
Ring-and-puck action in a fixed cell delivers reproducible impact milling for routine fineness control.
Integrated fractionation splits output continuously so the fine stream stays representative across long runs.
Designed for large-volume laboratories and industrial plants that cannot pause for batch emptying between every sample.
Supplied as CE-marked machinery with industrial-duty enclosure and access for wear-part inspection.

Gaia excels when laboratories need a single platform to meter feed, grind, and split fines without manual batch transfers. The integrated divider keeps the fine stream flowing while operators monitor feed level and wear parts.
Metered feed — constant-rate delivery from the hopper stabilises particle size across long campaigns.
Proportional divider — continuously separates material below 0.5 mm for downstream analysis.
Ring-and-puck cell — fixed grinding geometry for repeatable impact milling on hard, brittle inorganics.
